I am a Professor of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of St Andrews
and Head of the
Analysis Research Group. I am also the Outreach coordinator within the School of Mathematics
and Statistics, and more information about outreach activities we offer can be found
here. Before moving to St Andrews
in August 2016, I was a Lecturer at the University of Manchester and,
before that, an EPSRC funded
Research Fellow at the University of Warwick.

This is a generalist journal considering high quality submissions across the whole of mathematics. I am also on the Editorial Boards of Journal of Fractal Geometry, Royal Society Open Science and the Newsletter of the London Mathematical Society. If you wish to submit a paper or feature article, please follow the instructions on the journal webpages.
My research is currently supported by a Leverhulme Trust Research Project Grant (RPG-2019-034) and an RSE Sabbatical Research Grant (70249). The Leverhulme project is entitled New perspectives in the dimension theory of fractals and will run until December 2023 and the RSE project is entitled Fractal dimension in nonlinear nonconformal settings and will run until January 2023.
